Create Harmony

Hello!

Today I am extremely excited to be introducing my first guest blogger:-

Anne - Create Harmony IOW

I was introduced to Anne in 2019 and I feel very fortunate to have her in my life. Anne is a Zen teacher who teaches meditation, yoga and has recently launched her mindful living course.

Anne and her Zen classes have helped to guide me into a whole new way of living. Her classes are an essential part of my life.

They help to calm my/our overactive minds and keep my/our well-being tank topped up. Below Anne gives an insight into her Zen practice.

I have been teaching now for 15 years and over that time I have taught art, yoga, reiki, relaxation, meditation and mindfulness.

My business 'Create Harmony' came to life nearly 10 years ago, but I still try to keep learning and growing, so that I can build on my skills and be able to offer new techniques to help people unwind, de-stress and feel more at ease.

This year I have continued to grow and develop through a personal journey of discovery, exploring creative ideas, becoming more aware of my self-doubt and learning to look for more joy in my life.

Creative coaching was an amazing way to start my year and it was during this process that I created the 'Mindful living' course. This transformational 4-week course, encourages people to plant positive seeds in their mind, be more creative and bring more mindful awareness into their lives. It is such a heart-warming course that brings light and positivity into people's lives.

I have since trained in Coaching and Restorative yoga, which I can now bring to our 'Mindful Living' journey and I am looking forward to seeing where that takes us.

The other amazing thing that happened this year was a visit from a Zen Master, my Mindfulness and Zen Yoga teacher Daizan, who came to the Island in June for his 15 year anniversary. I organised a day of Zen, which I called 'A journey of the heart' and we had an incredible day of delving into Zen practice, guided by Daizan. It was also my 5 year anniversary of taking the Buddhist precepts, so it was such a special day for me and to be able to share it with my friends and students was so magical.

I am so grateful to Jules for being part of my journey, as she has been there ever since I trained in Zen Yoga and she has joined in with so many wonderful moments, from the day of Zen to the Mindful Living course, she has embraced every moment and been a beacon of light along the way. Thanks Jules 🙏

May all beings be healthy
May all beings be happy
May all beings live with ease

Thank you Anne for sharing your beautiful journey. Thank you for all that you teach and also for giving our inner creative a great opportunity to play. How had I not thought of making my own affirmation cards before?

I now treat creativity as part of my weekend schedule and give myself full permission to get creative.

Thank you to all of my readers for reading.

As always stay safe.

Kind Wishes until next time.

Jules xx
