Autumn intentions...

Hi Guys

I hope everyone is well.

So, suddenly Summer is over and Autumn has arrived and with it the reality of how much we managed safely to do between July and October, our unlocked months.

Today is World Mental Health Day - 10.10.21.

Hello Autumn, I think for most of us, if we were to choose a colour for Autumn it would be orange. This week some new Wight walks have been found. On one walk we did manage to be joined by three bundles of orange, in the form of a squirrel, a highland cow and a robin.

So, I have decided that my theme is indeed the colour orange, which spiritually represents creativity. It is also the colour of warmth, fire, sunsets and pumpkins.

What does Orange represent for you? What does Autumn represent ?

For me Autumn represents a time to embark on a new endeavour, a time to reflect, a time to re-evaluate. One of the reasons I enjoy going for a walk, is because that is exactly when I have a personal brain storm. I even have a personal saying “Fresh Air - Fresh Thoughts”.

Autumn is just like the beginning of anything, the chance to set new intentions. So, if you enjoy Journalling, it is the perfect opportunity to make a list of some of your plans for the next season.

It is also a good time to:-
Meet with friends.
Attend a class, enjoy, fitness or creative etc.
Go for a lovely crisp walk in nature.
Care for the wildlife around you, take seeds out for the squirrels and birds on your walks.
Invest in a new winter coat, hat, scarf and a new look.
Declutter your home, your clothes, (your mind), take to a local charity.
Take some photos, the light is absolutely amazing at the moment.
Curl up with a pet/good book/movie.
Make your environment cosy. Hygge ready.
Follow the moon.

Further proof that the Universe is with us, just as I was typing this blog, a newsletter from Tara Brach came through with a podcast called “Realising your deepest desires”. www.tarabrach.com

On her podcast Tara talks about setting intentions and she asks:-

What is my truest intention?
Why is it my intention?
How will it make me feel? and she also quotes one of my favourite poets:-

“What do you plan to do with your one precious life” Mary Oliver

I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend and have the opportunity to do something that is good for your mental health.

As always, thank you for reading.

Until next time enjoy everything.

Jules xx
